Acahua is a Canberra-based jewelry brand specializing in delicate and minimalist designs. Founded by Andrea, a Colombian creative who moved to Australia in 2012, Acahua blends elegance with simplicity, offering handcrafted gold-fill and pearl jewelry. Inspired by Andrea’s journey and love for Australia, our pieces reflect timeless beauty and sophistication. We proudly ship across Canberra, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Sydney, Newcastle, Byron Bay, and Melbourne, bringing our unique designs to jewelry lovers all over Australia.

In 2018, shortly after welcoming her first child, Sebastian, she was inspired to create on-trend jewelry in Australia infused with a Colombian touch.

Her journey began with Le Chick Accessories, an online shop launched in Canberra, where she also showcased her designs at local markets. As the business landscape evolved, and with the experience gained from Le Chick Accessories, she decided to rebrand and relaunch as Acahua in 2021.

Acahua is dedicated to crafting delicate, minimalist, and elegant jewelry. The name “Acahua” is a tribute to the Muisca people (Colombia’s Indigenous artisans), renowned for their exquisite gold craftsmanship during the Spanish conquest.

Since its relaunch, Acahua has actively participated in markets across the ACT and surrounding areas, including Haig Park Village, The Little Burley, Queanbeyan, The Cottage, and the German Club. The brand has also been invited to major events, such as The Multicultural Queanbeyan Festival, The Multicultural Canberra Day Festival, and the Xmas in July Festival.

Today, Acahua’s handcrafted jewelry is available through its online store and Etsy, making it accessible to jewelry lovers across Australia.
